No Gateway Method - Device Configuration

Please follow the steps below to configure the device's private deployment settings online.

If the device is already in Private Deployment Mode, enable the debugging hotspot [Name: tb | Password: 12345678] to allow the device to connect to the platform.

1. Power On the Device

After correctly installing the device, power it on. The device's status indicator (typically a blue LED) will start blinking, indicating it has entered the working state.

2. Device Network Configuration

If the device has already been configured for network access and is visible in the console's device list, skip this step.
Device network configuration must be completed on the public network. Therefore, it is generally done by enabling a hotspot from a device with public network access, such as a smartphone or laptop. The specific network configuration process is described at the bottom of the corresponding product's detail page.

3. Device Online

After successful network configuration, the device will be visible in the console's device list and show an online status.
If the network connected to the device cannot access the public network, the device will show as offline. In this case, you need to enable the debugging hotspot to provide a temporary network for the device, allowing it to connect to the platform and go online for configuration.

How to enable the debugging hotspot:
Please enable a 2.4G wireless hotspot at the device location:
Hotspot Name:
unisoft
Hotspot Password:
unisoft.cn
※ Can be any device capable of enabling a 2.4G hotspot, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer
If the device remains offline:
  • Check if the device is powered on and the status indicator is lit
  • Verify that the enabled hotspot's name (tb), password (12345678) are correct, that it is a 2.4G network, and that other smartphones can connect to it and access the internet
  • Place the smartphone or computer providing the hotspot as close to the device as possible

4. Device Configuration

Please open the device detail page and click the "Configuration" card

Step Description
Read Device Configuration The device's configuration information is stored in its memory chip. When configuring for the first time, please click the "Read Device Configuration" button to retrieve the device's current configuration.
Network Settings Set the on-site network that the device will connect to after private deployment here.
Up to 5 groups can be set. The device will automatically select the network with the strongest signal. You can preconfigure network information here even if those networks are not present at your debugging site.
IP Settings The device requires a fixed IP address to receive interface requests.
Before making changes, ensure the correctness of the parameters you enter. Incorrect IP settings may cause the device to go offline. In such cases, enable the debugging hotspot to bring the device online (when connected to debugging mode, the device will ignore IP settings and use the default information assigned by the router)
You can also set a fixed IP address for the device by configuring IP/MAC binding on the router it connects to.

GatewayLeave all fields blank
User Client: Port for the device interface (default: 80), optional, usually left blank
Device Name (key): Device identifier, optional. If filled in, it will be displayed on the device information page for identification
Device Password (secret): Device password, optional. If set, a "sign" parameter must be added to the request parameters when controlling the device directly

5. Restart the Device

After configuration, restart the device. You can restart it via the "Debugging" card on the device detail page in the console, or power off the device and power it on again after 5 seconds.
After restart, the device will enter Gateway Mode.

At this point, from any browser within the device's network,
visit: http://device-ip:port/.
If configured successfully, the following device information will be displayed:
device id: Device ID
device key: Device Identifier (configured key)
ip address: Device IPv4 Address
mac address: Device MAC Address
gateway ip: Gateway IP: Empty
gateway linked: Gateway Connection Status: No
